Most commercial finch seed mixes on the market are targeted towards Australian finches. The African finches, unlike the Australian finch, come from dense forests and tropical climates.

This African Blend contains extra protein, amino acids, trace minerals and special additives designed to give the African Finch the basic resting diet it truly requires. During the breeding season supplement your birds with softfood and/or live food.
